Introduction to and an overview of Rhythmic Entrainment Intervention
Understanding the origins of Rhythmic Entrainment Intervention.
An overview of ethnomusicalogical research on rhythm-making around the world.
Introducing the core techniques used around the world: community, shamanic, rhythm-healing
* Community rhythm-making: Audio samples and discussion of this participatory approach.
* Shamanic traditions: Prevalence of this approach and core technique involved. Audio samples included.
* Rhythm-healing: Exploration of rhythmic techniques used and locations and populations used for. Audio samples included.
Exploring the Scientific basis behind these ancient techniques:
* Community rhythm-making: Participation as a means to synchronize the brain. Supporting data includes basic entrainment research and audio samples illustrating this synchronization.
* Shamanic Traditions: Rhythmic techniques used to drive the listener’s brain wave states. Supporting data explores auditory and photic driving.
