For the past year we've been developing a series of CDs to help with sensory integration therapies. Last week we entered the final stages of clinical testing.
I'm very excited about these CDs because there are many times when using Calming Rhythms or Focusing Rhythms or our Custom Program is not practical or optimal. One example is in schools or during SI therapy sessions. Presently, a therapist would play Calming Rhythms in the background to help faciliate neurological calm while they work. Using an SI Series CD would not only aid in neurological calm but would also add an appropriate level of stimulation to support and enhance the therapy session.
The SI Series consists of 8 CDs, each with a focus on one area of sensory integration. These are hyper-sensitivity and hypo-sensitivity in each SI area: Proprioceptive, Tactile, and Vestibular, plus Auditory (this is an auditory program, after all).
The purpose of these CDs is to support sensory integration exercises and therapies. This is done by simply playing the appropriate CD and track quietly in the background while doing exercises or, in some cases, in lieu of exercises.
I'll be posting more on these CDs as the month progresses and we get closer to releasing them.

That sounds great Jeff! I've been using the calming rhtyhms as a background for my sensory seeking children for a couple of years and it really seems to draw them in and settle them. I've had less success with auditory defensive children - it seems like it is too much for them, so this greater range of choices is highly welcome! Can't wait to try them out!
